Matthew E. Purcell completed his undergraduate studies at The University of the South, where he graduated cum laude with departmental honors in English. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in the Spanish language which he speaks fluently. Mr. Purcell earned his Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University and has been licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia since 2005.
Attorney Purcell practices general residential real estate law and has performed hundreds of closings for properties throughout Georgia. He also helps individuals plan for their financial future and works with individuals facing financial difficulties and counsels them in the manner best suited to free them from debt. He represents clients who need to file for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.
Consumer bankruptcy with very few exceptions stops foreclosures, garnishments, repossessions and lawsuits. His chief goal is for his clients to have a fresh start and successful financial futures. He handles all matters related to estate planning, wills, bankruptcy, trusts, and probate.
Mr. Purcell is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and is admitted to practice in Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
